  186.               - The S or R button will make a small window appear in the upper
  187.                 menu bar. This will allow you to enter the text of your choice.
  188.                 To clear this from the screen, just click your Right mouse button.
  189.               - When the Search and Replace window appears and you have entered
  190.                 your chosen text, clicking the word Replace willl continue to do
  191.                 one Replace function at a time. The same is true for the Search
  192.                 procedure. Choosing G will do a complete global replace in the
  193.                 document. This is NOT case sensitive.
  194.               - Editing functions added (a few);
  195.                  Control - C = copy the current line cursor is on
  196.                  Control - I = inserts current line in buffer to line cursor is on
  197.                  Control - DEL = Deletes current line cursor is on.

  199. Overall changes

  202. - All Help screens can be exited by hitting the spacebar or clicking the screen
  203.   with the left mouse button.
  204. - All print features are now enabled in the 'Demo' version.
  205. - All print output has a better 'form' look to it with proper headings and
  206.   column structure.
  207. - Control - DEL key combination will delete characters to the right of cursor til
  208.   the end of the line. This ONLY works in document windows. Also ONLY works in
  209.   Full Page mode of Appointments.
  210. - Tried to fix up memory management but a 1 meg Agnus and 1 meg of memory is
  211.   still needed. Sorry but this has to do with the use of so many Hi-Res screens.
  212.   I highly recommend users to get the 1 meg Agnus installed. It will prove useful
  213.   for many other programs as well as Home Manager.
  214. - Added 'Nagger' screen to Demo version but I at least have the program running
  215.   fully functional now, even for non-registered users. All my programs, from now
  216.   on, wll have the 'Nagger' screen but will NOT be crippled.

  219. Well, that should be about it. I have done extensive changes to this program and
  220. I will get to work on doing new documentation for it. I hope the 'old' users will
  221. like the new enhancements and I hope it will now attract more 'new' users.

  228. Version 1D-1 - November 27, 1991

  230. Bug Fix

  233. -Found a bug in the ToDo's area. If you tried to change to Business ToDo's,
  234.  the program would take a trip to LaLa land. Found the bug and fixed it.
  235.  This was ONLY in the Demo version. It was looking for a print function which
  236.  was, obviously, disabled in the Demo version of Home Manager. This little bug
  237.  had no effect on the Registered version.

  239. Version 1D - November 25,1991
  240.  
  241. Bug Fixes
  242. ---------
  243. - If serial port not found by program or being used by another, HM would
  244.   either lock up at startup or further into the program. This has now been
  245.   fixed. A warning now appears on the screen and alarm sounds. You can
  246.   continue to use the program but dialing features are disabled. You must
  247.   still have the modem on to run the program.
  248.  
  249. New features
  250. ------------
  251.  
  252.       Opening - Alerts now appear if you have Appointments or ToDo's that
  253.                 are active for that day. Alarms also sound.
  254.               - If HM cannot find the serial port or if it finds another
  255.                 program is using it, an alert appears and warning sounds.
  256.  
  257.  Appointments - Now separate from ToDo's and has a larger input window.
  258.               - Saves only appointment files.
  259.  
  260.        ToDo's - Totally new and separate from previous version.
  261.               - Has two windows for 'Must Do's' and 'Could Do's'
  262.               - Choose between Personal and Business. Defaults to Personal.
  263.               - Up to 52 total double-spaced entries.
  264.               - Prioritize items. If an item is done, click mouse pointer
  265.                 to first character, first line of entry then hit
  266.                 Control-DEL. This will delete both lines of the entry and
  267.                 move all others up one position.
  268.  
  269.        Dialer - If serial port is being used, large X will disable Phone
  270.                 and warning sound comes on. Prevents lockup of program.
  271.  
  272.  Address Book - Added disable feature to dialing functions. Preventing
  273.                 lockup if serial port being used by something else.
  274.  
  275. *Note about sounds
  276.  -----------------
  277.  There are now two sound files being used as alarms. I have included
  278.  two rather small but effective files. The first one, BAD, is used to
  279.  warn about the failure of serial port recognition. You can replace
  280.  this with any sound file of your choice BUT it MUST be named BAD.
  281.  The second, ALARM, is used to alert you to the presence of either
  282.  Appointments and/or ToDo's on your disk. This can also be replaced with
  283.  any sound of your choice BUT it MUST be named ALARM. These sound files
  284.  are located in the Resources subdirectory and MUST be there.

  287. Well, that's about it for now. I have added and fixed quite a few things
  288. and I might consider adding more to the program. I would also like to
  289. thank Charles Figureido and David Spiro (the first two to register) for
  290. their suggestions and help.

  332. of Home Manager. They are as follows;

  336. - Improved size and looks of icon when iconizing the program
